Jeremy C. Park is a corporate executive and philanthropist, an author of two books and a weekly newspaper column, a contributor to Forbes, producer and host of television and radio shows and a podcast, and a sought after speaker for transforming organizations and individuals into catalysts for their community.

Park is president of cityCURRENT, a privately-funded philanthropic organization comprised of more than 75 business partners, including some of the world’s largest employers, like FedEx, AutoZone, Cummins Inc., and ServiceMaster. Focused on being a force for good, these companies have joined together to make a collective impact that more greatly benefits the community.

Under Park’s leadership, the organization transformed from a small, simple networking group, hosting only a handful of private events, into a powerful, charitable-focused partnership now hosting more than 150 free events each year for the Mid-South, along with an array of philanthropic initiatives and positive focused media.

Park has received numerous recognitions, like Top 40 Under 40, and has been featured in a number of national and international publications, such as Forbes Magazine, Fortune Magazine, The Huffington Post, and Leader’s Edge. Likewise, cityCURRENT has become recognized internationally as an innovator in corporate philanthropy, social entrepreneurialism, and collective impact.

Park’s first book, Giving Back with Purpose, was released in 2013 by Main Street Books; and his second, Giving for Growth, was released in November 2015. Both books focus on achieving success in career and life while helping others and benefiting the community in the process. Proceeds from both books benefit youth literacy programs and already many thousands of dollars have been donated as a result.

Since 2010, Park has authored the weekly “Giving Back” column, which is published each Sunday in The Commercial Appeal. He produces and hosts a weekly radio show that airs on all four Cumulus Media Memphis' radio stations, a monthly television show on PBS’s WKNO-TV, called The SPARK, and an annual televised awards show, called The SPARK Awards. He also hosts the telvision show "A Conversation With" and the ChangeMakers podcast. All media efforts are focused on spotlighting good news stories and those leading by example, in order to inspire more citizens to give back and make a difference.

Park is also a member of the LLC and vice president of communications for Lipscomb & Pitts Insurance. In this role, he oversees a team that handles all marketing, communications, and charitable efforts for the largest independent insurance agency in the Mid-South and one of the largest independent agencies in the nation.

Park graduated from the University of North Texas and was distinguished as the University's Top Marketing Student. He was raised in Weatherford, TX, spent eight years in Los Angeles, CA, and now lives with his wife, Meredith, and two boys, just outside of Memphis, TN. He’s been the head tennis professional at Beverly Hills Country Club, worked in national television and radio, and been mentored by entertainment icons, like Merv Griffin. Park serves on many local and national boards, including the Motion Picture Hall of Fame, Memphis Grantmakers Forum, Baptist Memorial Hospital, New Leaders, and the University of Memphis LEAD program. He is also a member of the Forbes Communications Council.
