St. Jude | Up ’til Dawn – University of Memphis

College students across the country are staying up to fundraise for kids battling cancer.

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Sarah Starc, Executive Director, and Desiree Carter, Director of Events and Logistics, who are both students at the University of Memphis and leading Up ’til Dawn benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Up ’til Dawn is a nationwide student-led, student-run program in which college students raise funds for and awareness of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. During the interview, Sarah and Desiree talk about their personal involvement in the fundraising program, the impact it has had on them and their fellow students personally and professionally, lessons learned during the pandemic, how the community can support their efforts, and more.

Every year, students on campuses nationwide register as teams of six and raise funds to help save the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Once your team raises $600 or more, you and your friends gain entrance to St. Jude Up ’til Dawn celebration. Register for our campus event today and start a tradition of giving back to the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Finding cures. Saving children.®
