One Generation Away – Distributing Food to Families in Middle Tennessee

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Chris Whitney, Founder and Director of One Generation Away, who shares his personal story of starting the nonprofit that distributes healthy foods to families throughout Middle Tennessee who currently do not have access to food sources due to economic and physical barriers. During the interview, Chris discusses their model and how they rescue food and then host mobile food distributions, their impact and how people can help their efforts, how the organization has changed him personally and much more.
