Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Josh Horton, Founder of the Creative Works Conference, which is an annual event hosted in Memphis, Tennessee, designed to empower the creative community. Creative Works Conference 2021 will be virtual and is set for October 7-9. The 7th annual event is calling all designers, illustrators, hand-letterers, photographers, copywriters, artists, storytellers, makers, agency owners, and creative entrepreneurs for a weekend of learning, collaborating and celebrating. During the interview, Josh provides some history and context for the event, talks about the power of connectivity with creatives from all over the country, and gives an overview of the speakers and presentation schedule, including 10 skill-based workshops, a 36 vendor curated maker market (open to the public) and three after-parties.
