During the interview, Sr. Maureen talks about some of the changes the nonprofit has been through over the last five years, their expansion from one home to multiple homes, the importance and power of keeping a family together, how people can get involved to support the ministry, their upcoming “Dinner with Dorothy” fundraiser and more.
Dorothy Day was a passionate fighter for helping the poor, for peace, for upholding the dignity of human life overall, and, in her words, for helping to bring about “the kind of society where it is easier to be good.”
