LITE Memphis – Closing the Racial Wealth Gap by Building Student Entrepreneurs

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Larissa Gregory, Executive Director of LITE Memphis, who shares some of her personal story and vision for the nonprofit, after recently stepping into the leadership role. LITE Memphis focuses on closing the racial wealth gap by building Black and Latino/a/x students into entrepreneurs and helping them secure high-wage jobs.

During the interview, Larissa highlights some of the different programs and ways they work with and impact young entrepreneurs, and shares the exciting news of LITE Memphis recently receiving its largest grant ever from Cummins. She talks about the power of partnerships and how business and community leaders can get involved to support their efforts and support the Mid-South’s future leaders and entrepreneurs.
