E.L.I.’s House: Equip Women & Children to Thrive After Trauma

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Jenny Rustioni, Founder and CEO of E.L.I.’s House, who shares the story of what led her to start the Middle Tennessee-based nonprofit with the mission of equipping women and their children to thrive after trauma. The organization is a Christian community centered in love, providing long-term housing, trauma informed therapy, healthcare, and vocational resources to equip and empower women and their minor children who are displaced, homeless, or at risk. During the interview, Jenny discusses their three-year residential program and their farm setting where they will incorporate gardening, goat and chicken care, as well as equine therapy into their programming. She talks about the power of collaboration and working with community partners, businesses and other organizations to open their doors and how the community can support their efforts.
