Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Dr. Sarah Breazeale, Executive Director with the American Red Cross of the Mid-South Chapter, who shares some of the history for the organization and highlights their mission and efforts to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
During the interview, Dr. Breazeale talks about how Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping individuals be prepared to respond in emergencies. She details their Lifesaving Blood donation efforts and opportunities, their Training and Certification courses for individuals and companies, their Disaster Relief and how they help families and communities recover from disasters, their international services and how they help Military Families.
