Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Jessica Van Dyke, Executive Director and Lead Counsel with the Tennessee Innocence Project, who highlights the nonprofit organization working across the State of Tennessee that is dedicated to investigating and litigating claims of actual innocence.
During the interview, Jessica talks about why their work is so important, how they determine what cases to take on as an organization, where they receive the most applications for help, recent success stories, and the vision for the future. She also discusses how they collaborate with Justice Review Units and the District Attorney, and why they soon will be opening an office in Memphis. She also talks about some of the ways the community can support their efforts.
