Barefoot Republic Camp, fostering relationships through faith and fun!
Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Angie Cornwell, Major Gifts Officer with Barefoot Republic Camp, who highlights how the Camp strives to facilitate Christ-centered relationships between individuals from diverse racial, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds through an equally diverse platform of artistic, athletic and team-building programs.
During the interview, Angie shares the history and why Tommy Rhodes founded the Camp, talks about their different camps and retreats, offers some stories of impact and how the community can both support their efforts and enjoy their experiential opportunities.
Barefoot Republic hosts overnight camp sessions in Fountain Run, KY for youth ranging from 3rd – 12th grade, as well as day camp sessions for 1st – 5th graders in Franklin & Nashville, TN. We also host family camp and parent-child weekends throughout the year at our KY campus. Every camp session is filled with team-building activities, small group time, and evening programs of praise, worship, and special guest speakers. Instruction is given in specialty areas including traditional athletics, extreme sports, music, music production, and fine arts. Our programming helps diverse students find common ground in the Gospel, in interests and hobbies, and as members of teams and cabins.
