Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Tracy Kujawa, founder and director of Angel Heart Farm, and Lane Caldwell, a young man battling cancer who is going through the program, who both highlight the nonprofit organization’s mission and efforts to serve children and families battling cancer using equine therapy in conjunction with their medical care at no cost.
During the interview, Tracy shares some of her personal story and what led her to launch the organization, how and why equine therapy works so well to help the children and families, how the nonprofit works with different children’s hospitals and cancer fighting organizations, and how Angel Heart Farm is the only program of its kind in the southeast. Lane then shares some of his personal story in battling cancer and connecting with the horse, Felix, and how Angel Heart Farm has impacted him and his family.
