Light the World Giving Machine running Dec 1-10, 2023

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Holly Walker and Sarah Critchlow, Co-Chairs of Light the World Giving Machine, who highlight the vending machines with a higher purpose where you can donate life-changing humanitarian goods and services to those in need locally and globally. Since 2017, the machines have raised more than $22 million for local and global charities.

During the Christmas season, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites people everywhere to light the world by lifting and serving others in small and simple ways. The Giving Machines are customized vending machines that allow the public to donate necessary products and services to those in need with 100 percent of every donation given to the participating nonprofit.

During the interview, Holly and Sarah talk about the process of selecting and working with the nonprofits, stocking the Giving Machines with a variety of opportunities to give back, stories of impact, and how Middle Tennessee can support their efforts. The Light the World Giving Machines will be in Franklin, Tennessee from December 1-10, 2023 at 231 Public Square downtown between 10a-8p.
