Nashville Radio Show: The Educators' Cooperative

The Educators’ Cooperative is a professional learning community designed to support all educators in all sectors, disciplines, and stages in their career. Membership starts with a weeklong summer workshop where teachers join a cohort and learn best practices in teaching & learning, collaboration, and support. In the months and years that follow, member teachers have access to monthly meetings where teachers continue their collaboration and conversations, space online for sharing resources, participate in non-evaluative observation and feedback, continue to meet with their critical friends group, join book groups, record podcasts, and more!

  • We are a professional network of educators who teach in more than 90 public, private, and charter schools all over Middle Tennessee.
  • Entirely for teachers, by teachers, we collaborate, observe, and plan together to share best practices in teaching and learning and to ensure good ideas can flow from classroom to classroom all over the city, regardless of school type.
  • We host EdCampNash: the largest education "unconference" in Middle Tennessee - 200 teachers from all over the area will gather on Saturday, February 8th at Warner Elementary School at 8:00am. It's free and open to all educators. Registration and information at www.edcampnash.org
  • We are now accepting applications to join Cohort 5. Thirty-two teachers will spend a week together at a workshop in June learning the protocols and practices of cross sector collaboration and development. More information at www.educatorscooperative.org/application
