During the Get on Board Luncheon you will hear from a panel of experts who will give you the tips and tools necessary to feel prepared before serving on a board ranging from fundraising to finances.
Meg & Katie are people strategy experts whose expertise comes from decades of experience working as executives and board members of high-growth organizations. With a focus on leaders who are managing the complexities of growth and/or navigating significant business transitions, PeopleCap believes that your People Strategy is as important as your Financial Strategy. Their clients range from publicly traded companies to VC/PE backed high growth businesses to high-impact non-profit organizations.
Meg Crosby currently serves on the boards of Slingshot, The J.W. Briggs Foundation, Big Green, The Baptist Hospital Advisory Board, Crosstown High School, and past Chair of The Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. Previously she has served on the board of Rhodes College, The Hutchison School, Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association (MIFA), Memphis Challenge and Advance Memphis.
Katie Spencer currently sits on the board of Playback Memphis and has been nominated for the board at Bridges in Memphis. She has served in the past on several boards in different states.
Linda Garceau provides consulting services in strategic planning, capital campaigns, planned giving and board development. She has particular expertise in all aspects of planned and major giving including charitable trusts, gift annuities, bequests, outright gifts and initiating Legacy Societies. Linda has recruited, managed and trained a number of volunteer boards. She earned a Master of Arts Degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
Linda Garceau currently serves as a board member of Shoot for the Future, Program Chair for Franklin Noon Rotary, Chair of the Life & Legacy Committee and member of the Williamson County Health Council. Previously she has served as a board member for Monroe Harding Home and Senior Citizens Foundation (now Fifty Forward).
Randolph Business Resources, LLC (RBR) is based in Nashville, TNspecializing in financial reporting, daily bookkeeping and payroll services in the Greater Nashville Area and all throughout the United States. In 2009, Mickey Randolph started Randolph Business Resources as an affordable option for small to medium-sized companies that either couldn’t afford or didn’t need a full-time accounting staff.
