Bailey\, co-founder of Wealth of a Woman. Wealth of a Woman is a community-driven platform designed to inspire\, educate\, and spark meaningful conversations about money. In Teresa’s work with women entrepreneurs\, she became curious why such capable women leaders who successfully managed their companies’ financials felt so fearful of their personal financials. This led to years of studying and making the connection to coverture law. These experiences were the catalyst for the creation of Wealth of a Woman: a space where women can grow\, learn\, and build a community around healthy\, empowered relationships with money. \nSpotlight Nonprofit: Girls Inc – Using hands-on\, research-based programming\, Girls Inc. empowers girls to succeed. Trained staff and volunteers build lasting\, mentoring relationships that are physically and emotionally supportive—where girls find a welcoming and encouraging community. The skills and knowledge students gain in Girls Inc. equip them to set goals\, navigate challenges\, and improve academic performance. \nWe look forward to seeing you there! \n8:30 AM – Doors Open for Networking\n9:10 AM – Program Begins\n10:00 AM – Program Ends

SUMMARY:04/07 - Decluttering as a Growth Strategy with Stacey Saed
DESCRIPTION:Join us on April 7\, 9:00-10:00 am\, for a virtual event with Stacey Saed\, an author\, artist\, and entrepreneur passionate about creating inviting living and working spaces. \nClutter is rarely neutral. It has volume. It has weight. And whether we realize it or not\, it quietly shapes how we think\, create\, and lead. \nIn this workshop\, Stacey Saed reframes decluttering not as a cleaning exercise but as a powerful growth strategy. Clutter becomes the static behind our creative conversations—the unseen drain on our time\, energy\, and resources. When our spaces are crowded\, our decisions slow. Our clarity dims. Our capacity shrinks. \nDrawing from personal and professional experience\, Stacey explores how removing physical clutter creates emotional freedom\, restores momentum\, and opens space for expansion—both personally and professionally. This is about what becomes possible when we intentionally choose what stays\, what goes\, and why. \nVirtual link to join: https://citycurrent.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_QNnYvl9VTAKKFaJRUnoBxQ

SUMMARY:Get On Board Virtual Nonprofit Workshop - The Blueprint for a Highly-Engaged Board
DESCRIPTION:Join us from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. on Friday\, January 16\, for our GET ON BOARD Virtual Nonprofit Workshop\, a free\, virtual training designed to equip nonprofit leaders with the tools to amplify their mission and attract more support. \nThis session will be led by Katie Spencer of Zipline Consulting\, focused on sharing “The Blueprint for a Highly-Engaged Board.” \nEngaged boards don’t happen by accident.
