DESCRIPTION:VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!\nJoin us for a meaningful morning of service at the Johnson Elementary shoe distribution!  cityCURRENT in partnership with Franklin Special District is coming together to make a difference—one pair of shoes at a time. \nTogether\, we’ll help provide brand-new shoes and essential resources to 300 students\, giving them the confidence and support they need for a successful school year. \nThrough this special event\, students will receive brand-new shoes provided through Soles4Souls\, dental hygiene kits from Delta Dental of Tennessee\, hats and gloves from Coca-Cola Reyes Beverage Group\, and books from the World Literacy Foundation. Together\, we’re helping ensure children have the tools they need to walk confidently into their future. \nWe need volunteers in a variety of roles\, including greeters\, shoe fitters\, shoe sizers\, sock distribution\, backpack and book stations\, and more. No experience is necessary—we’ll provide all the training you need! \nEvent Details: \n\n8:45 AM  Volunteer Arrival Time   (coffee\, water and donuts will be available)\n9:00 AM  Volunteer Briefing\n9:15 AM – 11:30 AM  Shoe Distribution with Students\n\nFAQS: \nWhat should I wear? Plan to wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in – jeans\, slacks\, fingertip-length shorts\, and sneakers.  If you are serving as part of an organization\, company\, church\, etc.\, feel free to represent your group by wearing a T-shirt bearing your group’s logo. \nIs there an age limit to serve?
