Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Diana Comes, Executive Director, and Spencer Beckman, Director of Development and Communications with the Community Legal Center, who both highlight the nonprofit’s efforts to provide low-income, working individuals in Memphis with a fair opportunity to pursue justice through our legal system. During the interview, Diana and Spencer talk about the importance of their efforts and share examples of their impact. They talk about their five key areas of practice, including their Civil Program, Immigrant Justice Program, Elder Law Program, Pro Se Parents’ Clinic, and additional representation and support through partnerships with other nonprofits in the Memphis area. They also discuss how the community can support their efforts and get involved.
