12/16: cityCURRENT – Samaritan’s Feet Shoe Distribution with Las Americas

Join us Saturday, December 16, from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM, for a morning of service and inspiration at our cityCURRENT – Samaritan’s Feet Shoe Distribution, hosted in partnership with Las Americas! Samaritan’s Feet Founder, Manny Ohonme, will join us as we serve 300 kids from Las Americas, who’ve already been pre-selected from the nonprofit.

Volunteers are needed in many capacities, including event setup/prep, registration, foot washing, managing shoe inventory, handing out snacks, playing games, and more! We need 100 volunteers, so it’s a perfect opportunity to serve individually or as a team with your co-workers, friends, and family.

Over the last 14 years, we’ve helped thousands of kids, and this event is always a favorite. The goal is to bring a message of hope, love, and compassion to everyone served. Every time we sit across from a child, we not only seek to meet their physical needs with a new pair of shoes, but we ask about their dreams and seek to build relationships here in our community.
