CoactionNet: Data management platform for nonprofits

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Dottie Jones, Executive Director and Chairman of the CoactionNet Board of Directors, along with Crystal Oliver, Chief Systems Administrator for CoactionNet, who both highlight the user-friendly data management platform designed for nonprofits.

During the interview, Dottie and Crystal share their personal backgrounds working with various nonprofits and city and county governments, and how those experiences and a desire to help nonprofits properly manage and track data led to the creation of CoactionNet. CoactionNet is a network of nonprofit, government, health and human service organizations working together using a centralized online data management system. Dottie and Crystal talk about the important role data plays in helping nonprofits evaluate programs, improve client outcomes, show impact and results, and increase funding. They also discuss how sharing this data across a network of nonprofits can be beneficial to track an individual working with different organizations to see where progress is being make and where additional services might be needed. They share some stories of impact and talk about goals for the future and how nonprofits can learn more about the technology and benefits of leveraging the platform.
