Midsouth Ponds: Bubba Hogan the Midsouth Pond Dude the importance of giving back

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Bubba Hogan, owner of Midsouth Ponds and affectionately known as the Midsouth Pond Dude, who shares his personal story of serving the community for more than 26 years with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and how launching a lawn care business years ago with his brother has evolved into a full-time focus and business as a Master Certified Aquascape Contractor bringing the magical touch of a water feature to backyards across the Mid-South.

During the interview, Bubba highlights the company and their services, including pond and fountainscape construction, pond repair, water features, and pond maintenance and cleaning. He talks about some of the trends in the business, the benefits and ease of having Koi fish and how a pond can help create a therapeutic and relaxing oasis to enjoy with your family.

Bubba then talks about their commitment to the community and details some of the many things they are doing to give back, including scholarships, helping to restore the outdoor water classroom at Keystone Elementary, and building the pond for the St. Jude Dream Home giveaway. Midsouth Ponds is teaming up with MVP3 Foundation to establish a horticulture program that teaches students and provides career pathways, and also teaming up with MVP3 Network to develop a children’s television show that will be an educational and fun show for families.
