Nashville Business Incubation Center

Nashville's long-standing incubator program helping entrepreneurs to scale businesses since 1986.

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Angela Crane-Jones, CEO of the Nashville Business Incubation Center (NBIC), who highlights the nonprofit organization focused on offering “innovative programs, life changing mentorships, and unmatched opportunities to help small businesses thrive.”

During the interview, Angela details their different programs, including Foundations, Framework, Groundwork, E-Myth, R.I.S.E. Up and Mighty Oak. She talks about the symbolism and importance of “growing tiny acorns to mighty oak” and how that applies to entrepreneurs, helping them become deep-rooted and strong to weather storms with a solid foundation for long-term, sustained success and growth. She shares some success stories and how recent grants have allowed NBIC to continue opening access and opportunities for more entrepreneurs, to work strategically with women business owners, and to help bridge the digital divide with companies, as well. Angela wraps up sharing how entrepreneurs can start their journey with the NBIC by taking “The Biz Quiz” and how the community can support their efforts.
