11/20: Memphis Signature Speaker Series In-Person Event featuring Jon Carmichael

Join us Friday, November 20, as we reach for the stars and reframe what’s possible for the future ahead with Jon Carmichael, world-renowned astrophotographer and entrepreneur, whose extraordinary pursuit of the perfect photograph became a powerful lesson in vision, perseverance, and possibility.

In 2017, Jon set out to capture the Great American Eclipse from 39,000 feet above the Earth. After years of planning and a bold request that convinced an airline captain to alter course, he captured an image celebrated as one of history’s most amazing photographs.

But the story behind the image is even more remarkable than the photograph itself; and the lessons learned have shaped an “Eclipse Mindset” that Jon will be sharing with us through a presentation that features breathtaking visuals and captivating storytelling. Jon will challenge us to look beyond perceived limitations, to embrace uncertainty, and pursue goals that once seemed out of reach.

We’ll discover how bold thinking, relentless determination, and a willingness to challenge the status quo can transform obstacles into opportunities and inspire extraordinary results in business, leadership, and life.

Sometimes, all it takes to see what’s possible is a different perspective.

Hosted by Independent Bank, this exclusive signature speaker series event brings together hundreds of business and community leaders committed to making a difference and powering the GOOD. Thanks to the generosity of our cityCURRENT corporate partners, this event is offered at no cost to individual attendees. Registration is required, and seating is limited.
