Join us on Thursday, Oct. 27 at John Overton High School Academies of Nashville tour, hosted by Lipscomb University. 

Overton is one of 12 high schools that make up the Academies of Nashville. Students have a choice of different academies offering a practical, hands-on approach to learning in fields that interest them. The Academies empower students through career exposure.

Throughout high school, our students are given opportunities to work with our business partners to gain real-world experiences as part of our Nationally Accredited Career Academy programs.  Students participate in job shadows, internships and experiential learning activities as they prepare to earn professional certifications that can count toward college credit.

There is no cost to attend but you must pre-register.

Note: Parking and the front of the school are located on Lambert Dr. You are welcome to park in any available parking space. Enter the school at the flag pole entrance. You will have to check in at the main office upon arrival.
