Guest Speaker: Amanda Dyer, Director and Producer of the documentary film, “Unseen: How We’re Failing Parent Caregivers and Why It Matters.”  With limited resources and support, caregiving takes a toll on their physical and mental health. Amanda will talk about some of the important takeaways and lessons and how the film is bringing parent caregivers together and giving them a voice, how she is partnering with organizations to offer resources and help, and how the community can support their efforts.

Nonprofit Spotlight: Alive Hospice – Alive is the only nonprofit hospice in Middle Tennessee. Thanks to donor support, we go above and beyond standard hospice care with special offerings for the whole community that include financial aid for patients and families, caregiver support, counseling, grief camps for kids, end-of-life care education, community building, and remembrance events. We are also the only hospice in the region with its own residential in-patient units, on-staff doctors and pharmacist, and a dedicated team for children with pediatric specialists.

We will continue collecting payment at time of registration for our luncheons in 2025. This change is designed with your convenience in mind. By settling payments in advance, you can enjoy your lunch without any interruptions, and depart promptly without having to wait for your check.
