Join us at our signature breakfast hosted by KCS on Friday, February 6, for a powerful and engaging morning with Brink Fidler, founder of Defend Systems and former law enforcement veteran, as he shares real-world insights and practical techniques that every organization, leader, and community member should know. His extensive background and years of studying active shooter events give him a unique and practical perspective on this growing threat. A widely recognized security expert and frequent speaker, Fidler is passionate about equipping others to protect themselves. He models his business around the company mission statement: “Empowering you to save lives, including your own“.

This is not theoretical or fear-based—it’s about awareness, preparedness, and decisions we all face as leaders, employees, parents, and community members. This topic applies to everyday life—whether at work, school events, places of worship, concerts, sporting events, or simply moving through our community. The goal is to leave better informed and more confident, with takeaways that can be shared immediately with teams and families.

What prompted us to host this now is simple: Incidents are increasing, and most people — even leaders — realize afterward that they were unprepared for situations they never thought would happen to them.

We are now Registering as Flex Seating (Seat Filler)

Flex Seating Registration happens once assigned table seating is full. Guests will receive a name badge and breakfast. Upon arrival, please check your name badge for a table number. If none is listed, guests will be seated at the start of the program by filling available open seats.

Guests who register under Flex Seating will be accommodated, either with assigned seating or open seating, based on availability at the time of arrival.
