07/29: Nonprofit Tour – HopeWorks and The Next Story

Join cityCURRENT and Volunteer Odyssey for an inspiring behind-the-scenes tour of HopeWorks, a Memphis nonprofit dedicated to providing hope through education, workforce development, and faith-based support.

During this special Summer of Service event, participants will learn how HopeWorks is helping individuals overcome barriers and create brighter futures through programs that serve adults pursuing high school equivalency diplomas, English language learners, individuals experiencing generational poverty, and those transitioning from incarceration.

Guests will tour the HopeWorks campus and visit The Next Story, the organization’s innovative 21-bed transitional living facility designed to help men successfully reenter society after prison. Attendees will gain insight into the challenges many returning citizens face, learn about HopeWorks’ mentorship and faith encourager programs, and hear powerful stories of transformation and second chances.

This experience offers a unique opportunity to see the impact of HopeWorks firsthand, connect with community leaders, and discover meaningful ways to support the organization’s mission through volunteering, mentoring, and advocacy.
