MEMPHIS: 02/12 – Dorothy’s Cottage at the Baptist Centers for Good Grief

Join us on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 8:30–10a.m. for a mini tour and informational session inside Dorothy’s Cottage at the Baptist Centers for Good Grief, hosted by cityCURRENT. Enjoy a light breakfast while learning how expert, compassionate grief support transforms lives for children, teens, and families across the Mid-South.
Angela Hamblen-Kelly, founder and administrator of Baptist Centers for Good Grief, will share the center’s mission and approach, illustrated with photos of the spaces where healing happens. Though we’ll remain in one area out of respect for clients receiving counseling, you will gain a vivid understanding of the play therapy rooms, art spaces, peer-group areas, and family counseling rooms that make the Baptist Centers for Good Grief a dedicated place for healing.
The Baptist Centers for Good Grief offer free, professional care to anyone who has lost a loved one—regardless of age, cause of death, or ability to pay. Through this session, you’ll see how evidence-based practices, delivered with heart, honor every story and help families move forward together.
