07/16: Memphis Volunteer & Nonprofit Tour: Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry

Join us for an inspiring cityCURRENT Volunteer & Nonprofit Tour at Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry on Thursday, July 16, from 9:30–11:00 A.M. as we get a behind-the-scenes look at how this impactful Memphis nonprofit is helping meet one of the most overlooked basic needs in our community.

During the tour, guests will explore the organization’s warehouse operations, learn about the growing issue of diaper need across the Mid-South, and discover how Sweet Cheeks is providing diapers, formula, period products, and other essential supplies to families in need. Nationally, 1 in 2 families struggle to afford enough diapers, and programs like SNAP and WIC do not cover them — creating a significant burden for many parents.

This experience will offer an opportunity to better understand the challenges local families face, hear the story behind the ministry’s mission, and learn practical ways individuals and businesses can help make a difference in the lives of children and caregivers throughout our region.
