James Bess Foundation: Efforts to deliver a gift of hope!

The James Bess Foundation grants Final Dreams for adults between the ages of 21-65 battling a terminal illness.

Host Jeremy C. Park talks with Mindy Bess, CEO and Founder of the James Bess Foundation, who highlights the nonprofit named in honor of her father, Army Veteran James Bess, who passed away in 2002 from brain cancer.

During the interview, Mindy talks about her father and his inspiration and how that led her to establish the nonprofit that delivers a gift of hope wrapped with joy to those adults (21-65) battling a terminal illness. To date, the organization has granted 31 wishes nationwide since August 2017. Mindy discusses the process and some of the past wishes they have been able to grant, talks about the impact of their efforts, and how they are working to bless first responders and military in their fundraisers, as well. She talks about their fishing tournament  September 30 and how they are partnering with a military organization that grants fishing trips to wounded, ill, and injured veterans, and how the community can support their efforts.
