Thank you for joining us as we present our cityCURRENT Signature Speaker Series featuring Colonel Mark Tillman, the distinguished Air Force One Commander during the events of 9/11. With the responsibility of piloting “the flying White House” throughout both of George W. Bush’s presidential terms, Colonel Tillman will share powerful lessons and stories from his time with the Commander-in-Chief.
Colonel (ret) Mark W. Tillman, the 12th Presidential pilot, served as the pilot and commander of Air Force One from 2001 to 2009. Notably, he was at the helm during critical national moments, including the events of September 11, 2001, when he ensured the safety of the President and facilitated vital connections with first responders.
