Park talks with Dr. Drake Dudley, Founder and CEO of Nashville Smiles Up Dentistry, which was recently honored as a 2024 Torch Award Winner in the Small Company Category with the BBB Serving Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. During the interview, Dr. Dudley shares some of his personal background and how he was inspired to become a dentist to make a difference in the lives of others. He talks about launching Nashville Smiles Up Dentistry with a mission to provide accessible high quality comprehensive care that caters to an individual’s personal needs, ranging from emergencies to cosmetic dentistry, and doing it in a way that is accessible to people who work hard and do not have the luxury to access dental care during regular business hours. Dr. Dudley also talks about the importance of oral health and education, and why community engagement and supporting nonprofits means so much to him and his team. He highlights some of their charitable efforts, like passing out 20,000 toothbrushes and working with organizations like 4:13 Strong, Dismas House of Nashville and DCS.
