09/18: Memphis Signature Speaker Series In-Person Event featuring Sarah Wells

Join us Friday, September 18 for our cityCURRENT signature speaker series event featuring Olympian, keynote speaker, excellence architect, mother, and cookie connoisseur, Sarah Wells. A 400-meter hurdler, Sarah is a four-time Canadian champion who advanced to the semifinals at the 2012 London Olympics and later earned silver and bronze at the 2015 Pan Am Games. Sarah doesn’t just talk about overcoming adversity, she hurdled it on the world’s biggest stage. She even raced across deserts, mountains, and international airports on The Amazing Race, proving once again that grit, adaptability, and a little bit of laughter go a long way.
So what if excellence isn’t about being perfect but being bold enough to keep getting better?
Drawing from more than a decade of elite competition and a master’s degree in leadership, Sarah will share practical strategies for breaking through limiting beliefs, transforming challenges into opportunities, and pursuing excellence every day. Her mission is to prove that excellence is not exclusive, it’s contagious. She believes that when you dare to break the blueprint, chase crazy ideas, and focus on doing the small things exceptionally well, excellence becomes contagious, elevating not just your life but those around you.
Come ready to rethink what’s possible and leave inspired to pursue excellence in your own life and work, and in our community.
Hosted by Baptist Memorial Health Care, this exclusive signature speaker series event brings together hundreds of business and community leaders committed to making a difference and powering the GOOD. Thanks to the generosity of our cityCURRENT corporate partners, this event is offered at no cost to individual attendees. Registration is required, and seating is limited.
