Guest Speaker: Teresa J.W. Bailey, co-founder of Wealth of a Woman. Wealth of a Woman is a community-driven platform designed to inspire, educate, and spark meaningful conversations about money. In Teresaās work with women entrepreneurs, she became curious why such capable women leaders who successfully managed their companiesā financials felt so fearful of their personal financials. This led to years of studying and making the connection to coverture law. These experiences were the catalyst for the creation of Wealth of a Woman: a space where women can grow, learn, and build a community around healthy, empowered relationships with money.
Spotlight Nonprofit: Girls Inc –Ā Using hands-on, research-based programming, Girls Inc. empowers girls to succeed. Trained staff and volunteers build lasting, mentoring relationships that are physically and emotionally supportiveāwhere girls find a welcoming and encouraging community.Ā The skills and knowledge students gain in Girls Inc. equip them to set goals, navigate challenges, and improve academic performance.
